Ernst Hansch Construction has worked closely with Princess Auto for over 30 years, carrying out various additions, renovations and site works to meet the growing demands of their company.
Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. provided all the master planning, design and construction services for a multi-year, 4-phase project that redeveloped Princess Auto’s Distribution Center and yard. This loading dock expansion phase was a key starting point that initiated the redevelopment.

The new sunken loading dock included infrastructure upgrades to manage and meet local land drainage requirements. Our design-build services included extending the existing concrete foundation down, excavation and paving for the new truck loading areas, creating new engineered loading dock door openings in the existing building envelope, installation of new dock levelers in a new floor slab, installation of truck restraints and all necessary overhead doors and controls. The project was completed on time and on budget.
