The continuous lengths will be shipped by rail across Canada and to parts of the United States. The new facility will replace Canadian Pacific’s current facilities and serve as its national rail weld manufacturing hub.

Features of this project include:

  • – A new 1,000 square foot pre-engineered steel building
  • – Approximately 8,000 feet of new railway track for incoming and outgoing shipments
  • – Installation of the process equipment that will be used in the rail weld manufacturing process
  • – A new 3 ton interior bridge crane located within the new rail weld building
  • – The extension of a 15-ton exterior bridge crane with a 150’ span
