Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. completed the construction of a new steel truss pedestrian bridge as part of the Chief Peguis Trail extension. The structure is comprised of driven steel H piles, precast concrete retaining walls, cast in place concrete abutments and a steel truss bridge with a fiber reinforced concrete deck.

The expedited schedule for this project, 4 months duration, was one portion of an overall accelerated schedule that saw the Chief Peguis Trail Extension open one year ahead of schedule.
