Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. was the successful bidder for the City of Winnipeg contract to complete a major deck rehabilitation of the Assiniboine Park Pedestrian Bridge. The project works included hydro demolition, concrete deck replacement, expansion joint rehabilitation and an asphalt overlay. It was challenging for the City of Winnipeg, the consultant and Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. to stay within the budget set for this project.
